Editors note: This beautifully made mattress works well as a budget kids mattress especially with its waterproof side.  Because of the PLA, which serves as a flame barrier instead of wool, this mattress works as a vegan mattress as well as a latex-free mattress. if you don't mind the "not-entirely-natural" materials (polyethylene and PLA), this is nonetheless a healthy and chemical-free mattress.
